Database: rights violations during Turkish invasion of NE Syria

,

Published in tandem with Rojava Information Center’s new report, ‘Turkey’s war against civilians’, this database documents over 150 rights violations committed by both the Turkish Armed Forces and the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (TNA) during the invasion of North and East Syria beginning 9 October and the ongoing occupation of 5000KM2 .

All instances in this database are documented either by photographic or video evidence or eyewitness testimony collected and documented by RIC field teams working in the field of conflict and among the IDP population.

Though by no means comprehensive, this database paints an overview of ongoing rights violations against civilians. Trends identified here are explained in more detail in the report ‘Turkey’s war against civilians.’
